Forma 3D's Markforged Metal X Printer located in Toowoomba, QLD, Australia.

Markforged Metal X

  • The Markforged Metal X is an advanced metal FFF machine utilizing metal powder bound in a plastic matrix to create the filament. Within a 3-stage Print, Wash, and Sinter process, the Metal X creates high-quality metal parts quickly and affordably, using only the required amount of material to manufacture parts, unlike traditional metal manufacturing processes. Whether you're in Toowoomba or anywhere in the country, this 3D printer is designed to streamline your production process and deliver industrial-grade parts, quickly and reliably.

Parts made on the Metal X can also be post-processed to meet a desired finish using green or brown state sanding, machining, threading/tapping, polishing/buffing, and bead blasting. All post-processes should be considered based on the required outcome and tolerances.
